By accessing our website, submitting a project inquiry, or engaging Sturl Digital for services, you agree to these Terms. If a separate written proposal, statement of work, invoice, or service agreement applies to your project, that document will control where it conflicts with these general Terms.

1. Our Services

Sturl Digital provides digital services including website strategy, design, development, e-commerce builds, content management system integration, hosting setup, technical maintenance, SEO support, mobile app development, and related consulting. The exact scope, timeline, deliverables, fees, and support period for each project will be described in a proposal, invoice, or written project communication.

2. Quotes, Payments, and Project Start

• Prices shown on the website are starting points or package examples and may change based on project scope, integrations, content needs, third-party tools, and timeline.
• Unless otherwise agreed, projects may require an upfront deposit before work begins, with the balance due at agreed milestones or completion.
• Late payments may delay project delivery, handover, publishing, hosting support, or ongoing maintenance.
• Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, plugins, stock media, paid fonts, app subscriptions, payment gateways, and platform fees are your responsibility unless explicitly included in writing.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate project requirements, timely feedback, approvals, content, brand assets, login credentials, and other materials needed to complete the work. Delays in providing these items may affect deadlines. You confirm that materials you provide do not infringe the rights of others and that you have permission to use them.

4. Revisions and Changes

Reasonable revisions are included only to the extent stated in your project scope. Requests that add new pages, features, integrations, design directions, content creation, or major functionality after approval may require a new quote, timeline, or written change order.

5. Approvals, Launch, and Handover

We may ask you to review and approve designs, staging links, features, content, or launch readiness. Once approved, later changes may be treated as additional work. Final files, access, or deployment may be provided after all outstanding invoices and required third-party fees are paid.

6. Hosting, Maintenance, and Support

Where hosting or maintenance is included, we will provide the level of support described in your plan or agreement. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party platforms, internet infrastructure, plugins, hosting providers, payment gateways, email providers, or external services. Security updates, backups, and monitoring depend on the agreed support arrangement.

7. Intellectual Property

After full payment, you own the final custom website or application content and custom design deliverables created specifically for you, except for our pre-existing tools, reusable code, templates, frameworks, processes, know-how, and third-party materials. We retain the right to reuse general knowledge, techniques, and non-confidential components developed during our work.

8. Portfolio Use

Unless you request otherwise in writing, you allow Sturl Digital to reference your project, brand name, screenshots, video previews, and general project description in our portfolio, case studies, proposals, and marketing materials.

9. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit harmful code, scrape content at scale, or use our content, branding, or materials in a way that suggests false affiliation or endorsement.

10. No Guaranteed Results

We aim to deliver high-quality, performance-conscious, accessible, and SEO-friendly work. However, we do not guarantee specific search rankings, sales, conversion rates, traffic levels, app store approval, platform approval, or business outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sturl Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm. Our total liability for a project will not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

Either party may end a project if the other materially breaches agreed obligations and does not resolve the issue within a reasonable time after notice. You remain responsible for fees due for work already performed, approved milestones, third-party costs, and non-refundable expenses.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where possible, both parties agree to first try to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
